This was a great week for environmental sustainability run by Horowhenua college by students for students. Pongaroa school put a lot of the below on their Facebook page please find link below. Throughout the week, students did complete various challenges on their bingo card, aiming to get as many points as possible. Each activity is allocated a different number of points, giving students lots of choice with the challenges. Once you finish each activity, upload photos, videos and other evidence to Instagram under the hashtag #nzgreenweek25, so that we can see what you’re doing and share it on our pages. This is also how we will keep track of each school’s efforts, and decide on the winners of all the prizes...  

The Green Week Bingo Card is designed to inspire students to take meaningful, hands- on actions that support sustainability and help protect our planet. The 2025 Bingo Card was released to all of those who have registered one day prior to the start of Green Week to keep you in suspense... Each category has different bonuses and prizes available, so do your best to complete every row. Students will complete activities independently for their individual bingo cards, or together to make the tasks more enjoyable and engaging.
