Nicole Read and her husband Mike, reside between Pongaroa and Weber districts. Nicole has connections with both Communities, as her daughters went to Weber School, and she also managed the Pongaroa Early Years Preschool for 3 years.

Nicole has a passion for young people learning, and in her role at Pongaroa Early Years, showed ability for self-management, time management, and good communication skills. All of Nicole’s skills, and local knowledge, will greatly help EnviroSchool’s launch into our two catchment schools – Pongaroa and Weber. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys gardening, helping her husband Mike with their farm SLUI plan, and spending time with family.
