Rebecca Greaves is an award-winning journalist and hill country sheep and beef farmer in Pongaroa, along with husband Richard and daughter Phoebe.

Rebecca has built her career around rural communities and telling their stories, particularly those of rural women. In her career as a journalist, she has edited NZ Farmers Weekly, Country-Wide magazine and co-hosted radio and podcast shows Rural Exchange (REX), From the Ground Up and The Country-Wide podcast. Her goal is to create content that educates, informs and inspires. Alongside this, she runs her business, Target PR, which provides editorial content creating and marketing, focused on the agriculture and equestrian spaces.As a local farmer, and member of the Lower Akitio Catchment Group, Rebecca is excited to be part of the PPCC team and to have the opportunity to use her skills in her own community.
